Can a newly purchased D2-310/D4-310/D4-300/D5-300 be used when the hard drive is installed?
No! If you install a new hard drive, it needs to be initialized and formatted prior to use. As the factory default RAID mode is SINGLE Disk mode, please refer to the user manual if you require the use of other modes.
